Note:Instructors will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and love of sailing with adults and teens on the San Francisco Bay. As a Modern Sailing instructor, you will also have opportunities to enhance your experience and skills by coaching our Recreational and Performance Race teams, and leading international flotillas and California coast excursions. During your classes, you will teach on-the-water safety, boat handling, and sailing theory on keelboats and multihulls to beginning, intermediate, and advanced sailors. Our staff enjoys leisure sails together, employee parties, discounts on marine supplies and vendors, and sponsorship for additional training. Students from grades 6 through 12 learn sailing, racing, and seamanship while living aboard 50 foot monohulls and catamarans with their peers and cruising the British Virgin and Leeward Islands. No prior experience is required. Our focus is on experiential learning, leadership training and personal growth.
